Bi-monthly Meditation Group
This group meditation practice in the Zen tradition integrates sitting meditation with varied self inquiry and reflection processes and group discussion. The self inquiry process is intended to deepen mindfulness of one’s self in all forms of relationship – self, other, and the world. Poems, writings, gentle movement, or questions serve as the stimulus for reflection.
The process is guided/facilitated by Suzanne Kilkus, PhD, psychologist, teacher, and 25 year meditation practitioner.

At Madison Daoguan,we practice neigong in meditation posture. Neigong uses ordinary inhaled air that is circulated throughout the body by the mind and the movement of the internal organs. Tranquility of spirit is a key aspect of practice. The word neigong is made up of nei (inner, within, inside) and gong (skill). In this workshop we will teach participants the breathing methods and use of the mind to practice neigong. We hope you can participate as this practice can enhance not just taijiquan practice but your general health.
